In that moment, I was sun.

Smiling face and shining rays,

And with alacrity, I raced

And rode ten miles til’ it was done.

And in the twilight, two was one.

A moment spent, love made, chance taken,

And by dawn, I had to run.

And you would stay, and ruminate,

And ask me “What have we become?”

And I would say, through beaming rays and rosy eyes,

Dumb-struck and dazed, and blind to lies,

“Lovers, are we now,”

For I love not for fun, nor play.

And together we had stayed,

We rode ten months til’ we were done.
